Too Much, Now Cumbersome

I used this app exclusively for grocery shopping for one feature over almost all others ... I could enter list items quickly. That is now broken by the latest upgrade, where the quick entree box retains the prior search term instead of clearing it after an item is added. This app also has far more options than I ever need ... I just want to make a basic grocery list, without calling on all sorts of Internet bells and whistles. An ad-free lite version that stays true to the core idea of how folks make a hand-written list and that returns quick-entree to its previous behavior would be perfect ... oh, too late ... I found something better already.
