Shopper Lite Shopping List App Reviews

Was pretty excited about this app, the ability to sync with your wifes shopping list and shopping by stores isles. If you need to share a shopping list, best to avoid this app and use paper and pen. Links are broken and over all is a bloated app that doesnt work.

In the newest version, when you search for an item and add it to your list, it no longer automatically deletes the text in the search box, so to add another item you have to manually clear the box first. Dislike!

I used this app exclusively for grocery shopping for one feature over almost all others ... I could enter list items quickly. That is now broken by the latest upgrade, where the quick entree box retains the prior search term instead of clearing it after an item is added. This app also has far more options than I ever need ... I just want to make a basic grocery list, without calling on all sorts of Internet bells and whistles. An ad-free lite version that stays true to the core idea of how folks make a hand-written list and that returns quick-entree to its previous behavior would be perfect ... oh, too late ... I found something better already.

Used to love this - but now nothing is easy. Product doesnt clear to look up next product. Plus added step to add to grocery list.

In the reviews, I got the impression that I could have multiple stores per item. I shop at several grocery stores and like to have some items available at the different stores, other items available at only one store. With Shopper, when I select different stores, I get the same list. Why have many stores all with the same list? I want one master grocery list, filtered by the particular store. Besides, this is a very confusing interface. Ive been using shopping apps for many years, and after playing with this one for over an hour, I still cant figure much of it out. I will give them this, there are a lot of Help screens. I know, because I found them. Twice. Cant find them now to save my life. This seems typical of this app. Theres a lot here, but very hard to navigate.

I had the full version until I got a new phone and it was going to charge me again for some reason so I went with free. It wont scroll down all the way so there are about 5 items I cant edit and at least 3 I cant even see when I scroll. Maybe theyll update it. Other than that its an awesome app

Anytime you want to sign or get coupons it crashes.

Impossible to figure out how to customize store aisles. Too many steps to use. Youll spend more time trying to set this up to shop then you will actually shopping

This app is not user-friendly. It takes forever to set it up the way you want it, and then once you close it out everything resets back to the way it was. Ive rearranged and rearranged for the last time!

Whenever this App is upgraded, the user used to be given 3 options: 1. 30 second tour 2. Remind me later 3. Dont ask me again For some reason, the third option is not active this time around. No big deal in the working of the universe, but it is getting annoying!

Shows one one page flyer for Publix which is not the weekly ad. When I clicked on the page it said the offer had expired. So why is it still showing up? No Aldi ad either. App sounded great but without all the current Publix ads it is pointless to me.

Doesnt have my store ads so its useless.

why I can not find the option to hold and drag to move items and categories up or down, according to the order in which the categories are in supermarkets?

This app is only fair. It is easy to input items to a list. However, everytime I am in a store, with iphone in hand and app opened, items disappear from the list and go to the cart - and I dont touch a thing. Its a pain to have to retrieve them from the cart, multiple times. Im looking for a replacement.

This is the worst shopping list app Ive ever seen. After 8 pages of instruction the user is bombarded with alerts, conflicting navigation, and redundant functionality. "Back" buttons are reserved for pushing onto the nav. "Cancel" is for modal screens. I am not sure the developers or designers actually own an iOS device. In alerts "tour" and "thanks" are not explicit. Not sure exactly why you can edit the categories you browse. Why do list and cart behave the same way? What is the purpose or difference? Oh I cant even go on. Its too horrifying to continue exploring.

Ive been trying to set up HEB it cant find any of the stores that sell groceries.

If you want a customizable shopping app that offers a lot of features then you may like this app. This app is most effective for people who live in & around larger cities as some stores in small towns may not be on this app. My only complaint is lack of ability to customize more with colors.

I was looking forward to this app. Id been using a similar shopping app and thought this one was a 2.0 version. Unfortunately none of the grocery stores in our town are represented in this app. Ill check back in a few months and see if its caught up.

Sadly, this program will only list a particular set of stores (CVS, Macys, Radio Shack, etc) and none are grocery stores. Absolutely NONE of the 10+ stores that are in a 7 mile radius show up. When I try and use the Bing feature and select a store on the map, the app does not recognize it. I found this app to be worthless. Too bad. It sounded good.

...it was 2007. Its ugly. Really ugly. Clunky to use.
